Tyler Odom is one of the top “young gun” youth Motorcycle Roadracers in the United States.

Born into a motorcycle racing family, Tyler is a third generation racer and follows in the racing footsteps of his grandfather, father and mother, as well as numerous other uncles and family relatives.

Tyler was born on February 4th, 1993 and is sixteen years old. He resides in Torrance, California with his mother, father and sister and has been riding since he was four years old.

His connection with motorcycles and racing was natural – his father Donny is a former professional speedway rider and World Championship contender. He was able to make his living (or at least tried really hard to!) by competing all over the world during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.

The Odom family racing legacy runs deep - Tyler’s parents Donnie and Deanna met at the race track, and began their relationship while Donny was still competing. Donny and Deanna have been married for fifteen years, but have been together for many more, and still enjoy visiting the races every chance they get.

During the 2007 and 2008 seasons, Tyler has campaigned (with success) a Pro Italia Motorsports sponsored Ducati 848 and 1098, along with the specialized 450cc “single” that was commissioned by Gavin Trippe and designed and built by Roland Sands.

During the 2009 season, Tyler competed on Erion supported Honda CBR600 motorcycles, and raced the complete AMA Daytona Sportbike Series, as well as the West Coast Supersport series. His season highlight came with a come from behind win at Daytona, and which saw him ultimately finish fourth in the series points, as well as score a few coveted points in the Daytona Sportbike class.

Tyler is just 16 years old and is in his Junior year of high school. He is smart both on and off the track and maintains a strong GPA while pursuing his dream of being a professional racer. Despite his young age, Tyler has already achieved significant racing accomplishments, including five AMA Sports National Championships and many other local and regional wins, and in addition to his win at Daytona.

His education still remains a priority, and he does a good job of mixing his school requirements along with his training and practice needs.

Tyler’s 2010 plan is to Participate in the Daytona Sportbike Class once again aboard Erion Honda Motorcycles, and where is fully expects to be a top finisher.
